THE BROWNING SCHOOL LIBRARY: Middle School

MIDDLE SCHOOL EXPECTATIONS

This year, we have a special treat for our MS students - a Middle Summer Reading Book Menu that offers something for everyone. From captivating stories to insightful non-fiction works, our menu features recommendations from various departments within our school. With contributions from departments such as Art, Computer Science and Engineering, Language, Math, English, History, Physical Education, and the Library, our book menu promises a diverse and enriching reading experience.

We believe that this collaborative effort will not only broaden our students' literary horizons but also inspire them to explore subjects beyond their usual interests. The menu is carefully curated to cater to students in grades 5-8, assuring that each recommendation is both engaging and age-appropriate.

We invite you to explore our MS Summer Reading Book Menu and discover the wonders that await within its pages. Whether your child is drawn to imaginative fiction or informative non-fiction, there is something for every reader to enjoy. All the titles on the menu are available on our 2024 Summer Reading Lists for Middle School and Upper School on SORA. Click here to access the books. Scroll through the menu below, a physical copy will be sent home with each student.

In addition to the summer reading menu, Math and French have assigned required summer work that will prepare students for the new school year. Specific instructions for those subjects can be found below.

Happy reading, happy summer!
